During the 1984/85 drought, World Vision Ethiopia participated in a massive relief operation that saved the lives of millions of people.
Starting its operation with emergency intervention in some parts of Ethiopia, World Vision currently operates in 57 Area Programs (APs) implementing major programmes, such as, Education, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Health, Nutrition, Emergency Response, Faith and Development, Food Security, Economic development, Climate change and environment projects and other cross cutting programmes.
